The Target Boycott of 2016 and Other News About Target
Introduction by The Editor:
This page is about the nation-wide boycott of Target stores resulting from the company's decision to
allow transvestites into their stores' opposite-sex restrooms. The boycott has been kept quiet by the
national news media; however, the internet has bypassed the news media (again) to spread the word, and the
boycott has been very effective. (Subsequent news reports about Target's sales slump and plummeting stock
price have put the blame everywhere except the restroom policy.) Target is being boycotted because they made
the decision to take the lead in this fight. Other stores and businesses may eventually follow, but
Target wanted to stand out as the trend-setter.
Mother
Confronts A Registered Sex Offender Filming Her 16 Year Old Daughter At Target.
Mother confronts tier two registered sex offender for allegedly filming her 16-year-old daughter in
a Target store but police say he didn't break the law. 'You took a video. Show it to
me... That's my daughter, take it off your phone... That's disgusting.' Charles Broc
Mullholand, 40, is a tier two registered sex offender in Wood County, Ohio. 'Why are you
signing out of your Apple ID?' The detective said. The mother said she saw several videos
of other girls on his phone and tried to grab it, but he pushed her arm and walked away.
'It's not that he was just recording people, he's recording her inappropriately, and he's zooming
in on body parts of her.' [Video clip]
Target
Will Only Learn Its Lesson On Radical LGBT Activism If We Keep The Boycott Going.
Target announced this month that its specially curated LGBT-themed merchandise will once again
appear on shelves across the country to showcase the corporation's commitment "to support[ing] and
celebrat[ing] the LGBTQIA+ community during Pride Month and year-round." The array of "adult
apparel and home and food and beverage" products, Target claimed, will be readily available online
but only "in select stores, based on historical sales performance." [Advertisement]
Corporate media attributed the so-called "pride" pullback to conservatives (and moms), who led a
boycott against the big box retailer last summer after it partnered with a Satan supporter
merchandise designer, sold "tuck-friendly" swimsuits, and marketed LGBT-themed clothing and
accessories to children. [Tweet] Target may have lost billions of dollars and suffered
several stock plummets after it shamelessly embraced and marketed radical gender ideology.
Yet, the Minneapolis-headquartered company has repeatedly shown no indication that it learned its
lesson on politically and sexually charged products.
Target
retreats from LGBT merch after year-long profit bloodbath. This year's pride month is
shaping up to be a much more humble affair at Target. In an extremely gratifying twist, the
company that bragged their transgender line is "great for our brand" has changed its mind after a
year-long stock market bruising. It's the latest evidence that the wildfire of consumer
activism is not only spreading but forcing the kind of change most people never thought
possible. If you asked conservatives two years ago, stopping the woke at major brands
would've been a victory. But reversing the woke? That's a tectonic shift in the power
structure of Big Business. For once, CEOs — who for years have thrown their
radical agenda in the face of shoppers — are feeling enough pain in their profit margins
to stop and ask if appeasing the far-Left is worth it.
San
Francisco thief used Target's self-checkout service to steal $60,000 worth of merchandise over 120
visits. A thief in California exploited Target's self-checkout service by dashing off
with $60,000 worth of merchandise over 100 visits to the retail store. This comes as more
stores are utilizing self-checkout services instead of employees physically scanning customers'
items. The New York Post reported that Aziza Graves, 43, paid a visit to the Target at the
Stonestown Galleria in San Francisco a staggering 120 times between October 3, 2020, and
November 16, 2021. Graves' elaborate scheme consisted of picking items off the shelves
and making her way to the self-checkout counter, scanning her items, and paying a nominal amount,
such as a single bill or coin, before ultimately making off with her loot.
Target
announces Pride month merch will only be available in 'select stores' after last year's
backlash. After last year's backlash against some of Target's LGBTQIA+ products, the
company announced their new Pride collection would only be available in "select stores."
"We're offering a collection of products including adult apparel and home and food and beverage
items, curated based on consumer feedback," Target said on its website Thursday. "The collection
will be available on Target.com and in select stores, based on historical sales performance."
Target has had June Pride Month displays with rainbow and LGBTQ+ messaging for years, but the
addition of products such as female-style swimsuits that can be used to "tuck" male genitalia
outraged many consumers in the spring of 2023. The backlash was so severe that an insider told
Fox News Digital at the time that some stores were told to relocate their Pride Month displays to
avoid sparking a "Bud Light situation."
Target
Illegally Collects Customers' Biometric Data, Class Action Lawsuit Alleges. Retail
giant Target illegally collected and stored customers' biometric data, including face and
fingerprint scans, according to an Illinois woman who filed a class action lawsuit against the
Minnesota-based company on behalf of herself and other customers. Arnetta Dean alleges Target
violated Illinois' Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA) by collecting customers' data without
obtaining written consent or sharing data retention and destruction policies. The lawsuit,
filed on March 11 in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois, also claims the company did
not provide the necessary disclosures or allow customers to opt out of the data collection practices.

Idolatry: Man
Jumps The Counter At Starbucks And Steals A Box Of Stanley Cups That Are Selling For Almost 500
Bucks Each On eBay. A limited-edition Stanley cup released in collaboration with
Starbucks is causing mayhem at Target stores[,] with fans lining up overnight and fights breaking
out in some locations. The shimmery pink version of the Stanley Quencher[,] an insulated
tumbler that has proved a hit on social media[,] was released Wednesday. People have flocked
to Target stores across the US to get their hands on the $49.95 cup. The cups are now selling
on third party site eBay for as much as $299.99[,] with some users listing the item for as much as
$550. According to videos posted online, there have also been fights breaking out in stores over
the tumbler.
Target
In The Bronx Now Has Security Measures Like Fort Knox, Can't Enter Without A Parent, Items Locked
Up Behind Glass. Retail theft has gotten so bad in blue cities that retailers are
going to extremes. Target shut down self-check registers and banned minors from entering in
one Bronx location unless accompanied by an adult. In many ways, Target[,] with its on-site
Starbucks locations and snack counters[,] has become the new mall. Teens can drop by for a
drink, something to eat, and a chance to walk around the store, perhaps buying something, or maybe
just window shopping. At least one Target, however, has decided to prohibit people under the
voting age from the store unless they're accompanied by someone who is at least old enough to
purchase alcohol.
Target's
Latest Trans Mania Is Asking For More Boycotts, And Customers Should Deliver. As if
partnering with a Satanist to design "pride" month merchandise wasn't bad enough, Target is back
this holiday season to force its latest batch of LGBT-themed Christmas products on its customer
base. Last week, it was revealed that Target is selling a variety of "rainbow"-themed
Christmas decorations this year, ranging from nutcrackers holding the "progress" and LGBT flags to
black disabled Santa ornaments. The retail giant is also merchandising LGBT-themed snow
globes and wrapping paper. The store has sold "pride"-themed nutcrackers during the Christmas
season as early as 2021. But dumping its "rainbow" products onto shoppers this December is just the
tip of the iceberg for Target, which apparently failed to learn from major revenue drops that
plagued the retailer after alienating customers in June. The retail chain is also elevating
individuals promoting the left's radical LGBT agenda to significant positions within the
company. Among these figures appears to be Erik Thompson, who announced his partnership with
Target on Instagram earlier this month as the store's new "Senior LGBTQIA+ Segmentation Strategist
and Pride Lead."
Target
Promotes 'GayCruella' To 'LGBTQIA+ Segmentation Strategist'. Target has appeared to
double down on its acceptance of radical gender theory despite a second straight negative sales
report following backlash to its Pride-themed products earlier this year. Target reportedly
selected a man named Erik Thompson as its Senior LGBTQIA+ Segmentation Strategist and Pride Lead,
according to a post he shared on Instagram that was flagged by popular X account Libs of
TikTok. Thompson, who goes by "gaycruella" on the social media platform, shared with
followers that he was "honored" to accept the role. "Time to whip out the Glitter & Hellfire
flamethrowers and rip that old world to shreds darlings," the self-described Target corporate
employee shared.
Target
Humiliates Itself with Woke Christmas Decorations. At best, Target has learned only
part of its lesson from this year's conservative customer boycott. According to End
Wokeness — a prominent conservative account with more than 1.8 million followers on the
social media platform X — the Minnesota-based corporate retail giant now offers woke
Christmas decorations, including a black Santa Claus in a wheelchair and a figurine sporting both a
"pride" hat and a "pride" flag.
Target
CEO calls Pride Month display backlash 'first time' team felt 'not safe' at work.
Target CEO Brian Cornell suggested that the backlash the retail giant faced back in May over its
LGBTQ Pride displays was the first time some team members claimed it was "not safe" at work.
Cornell appeared Thursday on CNBC where he discussed declining sales, particularly following
protests and critiques of its Pride Month merchandise. While on the topic, he insisted that
employees felt more unsafe during the controversy than they did during natural disasters and
violent Black Lives Matter protests. [...] Consumers' Research executive director Will Hild
objected to Cornell's comments. "It's particularly ironic that he would talk about safety, in
terms of his employees, and distract from the fact that he has made his stores unsafe for people to
bring their own small children in who don't want to necessarily have to answer questions around,
'What is a transgender person?' or 'Mommy, why is there a book that asks if I'm a boy or a
girl? I already know these things,'" Hild told Fox News Digital.
Horrors!
Target, other retailers close stores to protect profit. Retailers have to get over
the outdated idea that their stores are there to make a profit. That is the message of a NEWS
story in the Business section of my local paper, the StarTribune. [Tweet] Target, you see,
is closing stores in crime-ridden areas. This move follows those of other retailers like
Nike, CVS, Walgreens, and a host of other chains in cities across America.
Target
[is] closing [its] East Harlem store, blaming theft. Target has announced that it
will close nine of its stores nationwide, including one on 117th Street in East Harlem on October
21, citing rampant shoplifting that threatens the safety of employees and customers.

The Editor says...
Theft and violence have little to do with economics. They are the result of lax (or zero) law
enforcement, and an abundance of godless, fatherless, remorseless black thieves.
Target
[is] Closing Nine Stores Due to Organized Theft, Safety Concerns. Target announced the
closure of nine stores nationwide due to ongoing challenges related to crime and safety
concerns. Target, a retail giant with nearly 2,000 stores across the United States, has been
vocal about the issue of organized retail crime affecting its stores, leading to increased
instances of theft and higher levels of inventory shrinkage. The affected store closures will
be in major cities, including New York City, Seattle, San Francisco, and Portland.
Shoplifter
suspect gets busted after returning to the same Target to steal another TV. A man,
who once got away with stealing a TV from Target, went back to the same store on Wednesday, leading
to his arrest, the Atlanta Police Department says. The incident happened at a Target store on
Caroline Street NE after a Target security guard told police that "a suspect had stolen one
television from the store and returned moments later to take another." The video released by
APD shows the moment of a confrontation between the man and a police officer. The alleged
shoplifter tried to run away before a police officer took him down. [Video clip]

Employee Breaks Up A Flash Mob Dancing Inside Store, Of Course He's Called A RACIST.
A wannabe pop star is receiving backlash online after she labeled a Target employee as a "racist"
for calling the police on her "flash mob" that showed up uninvited to a store and began filming
a dance video. Baby Storme, an internet personality who released a song titled "This City Is A
Graveyard," posted videos on YouTube and X titled "Racist Target Employee Calls The Police On Us
For Dancing." In the video, Baby Storme, who lists Los Angeles as her hometown on social
media, and about a dozen other people dressed in goth-inspired costumes begin a slow dance as they
walk through an aisle at a Target, whose exact location could not be determined. [Video clip]
Shareholder
Sues Target Over 'Billions' Lost After Pride Campaign Backlash. America First Legal
(AFL), a legal activist group, sued the Target Corporation and its board of directors on behalf of
a Target shareholder, alleging the company misled shareholders and lost investors billions,
according to a new lawsuit. Target announced a Pride collection in May 2023 that marketed
LGBTQ-themed clothing to kids including onesies with the transgender flag and LGBTQ-themed books
for children which resulted in a boycott of the store and the company's stock losing
billions. The lawsuit alleges that Target's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) and
Environmental, Social and Governance policies (ESG) weren't designed to benefit all shareholders
and only benefited an ideological agenda, ignoring past DEI-related company failures such as Bud
Light's loss in sales due to hiring an LGBTQ ambassador.
Legal
Consequences Could Soon Be in Store for Target's 'Pride' Displays. Attorneys general
in several Republican-led states warned Target that "pride" displays and LGBT items at stores could
create legal issues for the retail giant, running afoul of child-protection laws in some
jurisdictions. Led by Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita, seven attorneys general wrote
that the store's "June Pride" collection could be "potentially harmful to minors" and said that the
economic interests of shareholders could suffer due to ensuing boycotts. What's more, they
argued that the items could raise concerns about state child protection or parental rights laws.
"As Attorneys General committed to enforcing our States' child-protection and parental-rights laws
and our States' economic interests as Target shareholders, we are concerned by recent events
involving the company's 'Pride' campaign," the officials wrote in a letter to Target CEO Brian
Cornell. "Our concerns entail the company's promotion and sale of potentially harmful products
to minors, related potential interference with parental authority in matters of sex and gender
identity, and possible violation of fiduciary duties by the company's directors and officers."
Target
is forced into overnight U-turn as it now says it WILL sell Mark Levin's new book.
Target has made a stunning reversal after Fox News host Mark Levin called out the retail giant for
not carrying his new book 'The Democratic Party Hates America' because it 'may offend certain
customers.' Levin blasted the retail giant on Wednesday saying: 'Target has informed my publisher,
Simon & Schuster, that it will not carry my new book when it is released on September 19. 'It
claims that certain customers might be offended by the title. Imagine that! So, the corporatist
leftwing censorship begins. I will discuss this in more detail on this evening's radio show.'
Anybody
buying that 'Pride' merchandise at Target? Now that there's been a hullaballoo at
Target over its aggressive merchandising of LGBTQ+ promotional items, which drove its stock down
for a period, and forced it to move its prominent displays in some outlets, how are those sales
going? Well, on a visit to Target on Balboa Avenue in San Diego on May 30, where the
merchandise had just been pulled back from immediate visibility and the controversy was roaring,
store traffic appeared normal, but there were lots of fully stocked LGBTQ+ merchandise displays
throughout the store in different departments that didn't seem to be drawing buyers. [...] What's
known as seasonal merchandise, such as these Pride promotional items, tend to only get stocked at
one go, or perhaps two. They don't tend to be a daily stock at all. I know this,
because twenty years ago, I used to work at Target.
Target
Tumbles to Its Biggest Loss Yet, Gets Hit With Yet Another Downgrade.
[Scroll down] Target stock also has continued to take a huge dive since the middle of
May when they became embroiled in a controversy over pushing LGBTQ items targeting children.
And it doesn't look like they're done yet. They've already faced two downgrades. But
now, they just got another one from Citi analysts including Paul Lejuez, who just moved Target from
buy to neutral, due to "diminishing store traffic." [...] He also pointed to them losing 13.9 percent
of in-store traffic in the last week of May. Not a good look for Memorial Day, and as we're
going into the summer.
Economics
professor: Boycott of Target over 'Pride' clothing is 'literal terrorism'. A
University of Michigan economics professor recently opined that boycotting the store Target over
its line of LGBTQ+ "Pride" clothing is "literal terrorism." The retail giant had pulled its
Pride line from various stores "at the center of the most significant confrontational behavior,"
according to Newsweek. A Target spokesperson said the move was in response to "threats
impacting our team members' sense of safety and wellbeing." Appearing on MSNBC's "The 11th
Hour," "surfer dude" Justin Wolfers said if Target follows this up with similar actions at other
stores, it means the company has lost control of its marketing policies.
Target's
$13 Billion Stock Plunge Is a Message for Woke Corporations: Kevin O'Leary. Venture
capitalist and "Shark Tank" television personality Kevin O'Leary said that part of Target's recent
multibillion-dollar stock plunge is about investors sending a "Get woke, go broke" message to
corporations which chase progressive social and political agendas. Target's stock price has
taken a beating amid conservative backlash over the company's decision to sell LGBT-themed items
and clothing. At the beginning of May, before the company rolled out its Pride collection,
Target's market cap was around $73 billion. As of June 6, the company's market
valuation sits at $60.71 billion. O'Leary, who heads the venture capital firm O'Leary
Ventures, told Fox News in a recent interview that Target's stock price crash is the market
punishing the company for straying from its core function — that of a business that is
supposed to make money for shareholders.
JPMorgan
Downgrades Target Stock amid Backlash over LGBT Merchandise. Target's stock was
downgraded on Thursday by JPMorgan, the largest bank in the United States, amid a consumer backlash
over the store's LGBT product campaign. "We continue to believe that the consumer is broadly
weakening while the share of wallet shift away from goods (51% of [Target's] sales) is ongoing,"
JPMorgan analyst Christopher Horvers wrote, according to Market Watch. The stock was
demoted from overweight, which means the broker has a positive outlook on the company's prospects
due to its current share price and that the stock is considered a strong buy, to neutral, which
means the broker believes the investor should hold the stock as its price may not change.
Target's
VP of brand management is treasurer at LGBTQ group. A marketing executive at Target
also serves as the treasurer of a LGBT organization which receives millions of dollars from the
retailer and advocates allowing trans and nonbinary school students to keep their gender identity
secret from parents. Carlos Saavedra, 43, is Target's vice president for brand management and
also volunteers as a director at GLSEN, which supports LGBTQ youth in schools. Details of
Saavedra's role at GLSEN come as Target's donations to the organization were placed under the
spotlight following a backlash to the retailer's Pride month range, which includes 'tuck-friendly'
women's swimwear.
Target
diversity chief demands 'White women' get to work against America's systemic racism.
A Target Corporation diversity executive demanded "White women" get to work to combat the supposed
systemic racism in America, while adding the retail giant was making some internal decisions based
on predictions of shifting demographics. "One of the hardest things in the world to be every
day is Black," Kiera Fernandez, a chief diversity and inclusion officer at Target, said in a video
interview with Essence Magazine in January. Target has ramped up its DEI efforts, in
particular after the death of George Floyd in 2020. Target established the Racial Equity Action and
Change — which is led by Fernandez — to rapidly "accelerate" those
efforts. The task force focuses on engaging Black customers in stores and ramping up
promotions and hiring of Black employees. The retail giant also promised to drastically
increase its demographics of Black employees — which was at 50%.
Hysterical,
Scathing 'Boycott Target' Rap Song Tops the Charts. "Attention all shoppers, there's
a clean up on every aisle. Target is targeting your kids," rapper Forgiato Blow sings in a
song blasting the retailing giant's obligatory Pride Month offerings, which include "women's"
bathing suits with space for tucking a male organ, sexual orientation clothing for kids, sexually
themed books for children, and even a (since-removed) line by a company whose designer is an
outspoken Satanist. Proving that many Americans are getting sick of this stuff, the song shot
to #1 on the iTunes "most popular chart" across all genres, surpassing the likes of Taylor Swift
and Luke Combs. "Boycott Target" no longer sits at the top spot as of this writing — I
wouldn't be surprised if the woke Apple corporation had something to do with that — but
the video has been viewed over 4.4 million times on Twitter and hundreds of thousands more on other
platforms. The video is blistering and hysterically funny at the same time.

Target
shows the blueprint to beat the left. Something is happening right now that is
scaring the Obama out of the fascist far left. Their power has always been an
illusion, perpetuated by pop culture and the national socialist media, but now that is being shown
to be nothing more than smoke and mirrors. Normal people in the pro-freedom majority are
figuring that out. And now that it's being shown to be a cultural chimera, the anti-liberty
authoritarianism of the fascist far left is finished. That is what truly scares leftists
about the Bud Light and Target situations. It's not just that there's been resistance; they
expect and exploit what they've received in the past to always portray themselves as victims while
being the obvious aggressors. But this time it's different. The resistance is
widespread, persistent, and intensifying.
Boycott
Target. The Left is attacking us with its most bizarre culture war yet, the "trans"
fad that threatens the mental and physical health of our children and young people. So we
have no choice but to fight back. To start with, let's fight back against Target.
Target's sins go far beyond its "Pride" collection. Most attention has focused on the
clothing line that included expanded-crotch "women's" swimsuits and partnership with a Satanist
designer. But even worse, in my opinion, is that Target stocks books aimed at children as
young as two that promote homosexuality. Nor is that all: Target funds an organization,
GLSEN, that urges schools to encourage sex changes in children without notifying their parents:
[...] Target has donated more than $2 million to GLSEN. You might think that the company would
re-examine its commitment to what is effectively a groomer organization, but no: [...] When a
company like Target goes left, it goes all the way. Thus, you might think that Target would
be angry, or at least annoyed, by George Floyd rioters destroying its Lake Street store in
Minneapolis, and trashing and looting the downtown Minneapolis store on the ground floor of the
company's headquarters building. But those apparently were minor peccadillos.

Target Memo Reveals Retail Giant Has Learned Nothing from $9B LGBT Protest Losses - Report.
It has all of the earmarks of an abusive relationship, but Target keeps coming back for more. The
retail giant recently took a financial beating when it lost more than $9 billion in market value in
the span of a week after commemorating LGBT "pride" by selling "tuck friendly" and "binding clothing"
made for children. Combined with the choice to sell items made by a Satanic artist, the company
has faced severe backlash for being in bed with the worst and most radical woke leftist causes.
Instead of learning how to quit the progressives squeezing the life out of the company, Target appears
to be leaning into its love affair with ideologies that will be its undoing. In a memo
purportedly leaked from the company Thursday, Target thanked employees for weathering the storm caused by
its perverted product lines before commemorating the three-year anniversary of the death of George Floyd.
Target
Knew of Satanist-Inspired Merchandise When It Partnered with LGBT Brand, Designer Claims.
When Target approached the brand Abprallen to design clothing for its 2023 "PRIDE" collection, the retail
giant was fully aware of the brand's Satanist-inspired merchandise, according to a statement posted on
Instagram by the designer. Target initially sold three Abprallen products: a messenger bag
saying "We Belong Everywhere" across trans-flag colors and planets, a tote bag with the message "Too Queer
for Here" beneath a UFO, and a "Cure Transphobia, Not Trans People" sweatshirt. The three items
are no longer for sale online. Other Abprallen products, which were not sold at Target,
included Satanist imagery and glorified violence against alleged "transphobes."
It's
Up to Moms to Crush Target. [Scroll down] But if we've learned anything
over the last three years, throughout the course of Covid lockdowns and school board curriculum
battles, if there is one demographic willing to take on the most seemingly insurmountable
institutions who prey on children, it's moms. Target has been in the corporate LGBT Pride
game for years, so their slide further down the post-Obergerfell slippery slope this year is
not at all surprising. But this year, they finally pushed conservatives who looked past their
massive Pride Month displays for years to the edge when they produced merchandise like children's
"tuck-friendly" and "chest binding" bathing suits and Pride-themed clothing for children and even
infants. They are also selling graphic tees designed by a Satan supporter who called for the
eradication of anyone who disagrees with the mutilation of children.
Target
Loses $9 Billion in One Week. If you thought Anheuser-Busch and Bud Light's stock was
sinking like a brick, wait till you see what's going on over at Target. The major retailer
has reportedly lost $9 billion over the past week in the wake of the controversial kids' pride
section being displayed in several stores. That would be billion with a b.
Nine. Billion. Last Wednesday — a day before the controversy erupted —
Target's stock closed at $160.96 a share, giving them a market capitalization of $74.3 billion.
As of Thursday morning, shares of the company were trading off 1% at $141.76 — bringing that
above number down to $65.3 billion, which is a staggering 12% drop.
Target's
market value has dropped $9 billion in one week. Target's efforts to trans the kids
and babies and promote satanism under the guise of LGBT "pride" and "tolerance" looks like it may
have majorly backfired. According to the latest stocks, Target has lost $9 billion in
market value in just a week since their latest pride stunt went viral and they tried to push trans
nonsense on kids.
That
Target Stock Plunge Has Gotten Even Worse. We've seen what has happened to Bud Light
since they endorsed transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney's "365 Days of Being a Girl" as he mocked
girls and women. [...] Now, Target is feeling that same weight since outraged customers have turned
the boycott on them. [...] Despite reportedly removing or moving controversial items from their
LGTBQ Pride Collection that were targeted toward children, Target CEO Brian Cornell was doubling
down on the woke agenda, as I reported, claiming it was "adding value" to their bottom line.
"I think those are just good business decisions, and it's the right thing for society, and it's the
great thing for our brand," Cornell said. He claimed it was "building greater engagement"
with their customers.
Target
Stock Sinks Nearly 10 Percent Amid Pride Backlash. Target is partaking in campaigns
to capitalize on LGBTQ messaging and merchandise and critics are lashing out on social media with
calls for boycotts, leading to fears of a Bud Light-like public relations hit. The retailer's
stock price is down 10.24% in the past month and almost 10% since its March 17 top, just hours
before CEO Brian Cornell hailed DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) as having been a boon to
business. The controversy is boiling over just days before June's Pride Month for the
LGBTQIA+ community, but Target's pride page calls for customers to "celebrate, all year long."
Calls for Target boycotts on Twitter have been going on for over a week, condemning pride messaging
and LGBTQ clothing for children and even babies, TheStreet reported. It started March 17 with
Target CEO Brian Cornell hailing its LGBTQ friendly products.
Target
removes some LGBT merch amid boycott calls despite CEO defending items as 'right thing for
society'. Target on Tuesday announced that it would be removing certain LGBT-themed
merchandise from its stores nationwide and its website, blaming the adjustment on "confrontational
behavior" and "threats" from customers. Target's Pride Collection includes more than 2,000
items, according to Reuters. Some of those products include books for 2- to 8-year-old
children titled, "Bye Bye, Binary," "Pride 1,2,3," and "I'm Not a Girl." The announcement
that the store chain will remove some Pride items follows recent comments made by Target's top
executive, who defended the merchandise as the "right thing for society." During an episode
of Fortune's "Leadership Next" podcast, CEO Brian Cornell brushed off customer backlash to
companies going "woke." "I think those are just good business decisions, and it's the right
thing for society, and it's the great thing for our brand," Cornell stated. The CEO
celebrated Target's focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, noting that it "has
fueled much of our growth over the last nine years."
Newsom
Melts Down As Target Pulls Some 'Pride' Products Amid Outrage: 'Doesn't Stop Here'.
The governor of the largest state in the country is lashing out on Twitter at the CEO of Target
over its decision to remove some of its "Pride" collection products. On Tuesday night,
California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) tweeted, "CEO of Target Brian Cornell selling out the LGBTQ+
community to extremists is a real profile in courage." "This isn't just a couple stores in the
South. There is a systematic attack on the gay community happening across the country.
Wake up America," he continued. Finally, the tweet took a bizarre, fearmongering turn as
Newsom claimed, "This doesn't stop here. You're black? You're Asian? You're
Jewish? You're a woman? You're next." [Tweet]
Target
Holds 'Emergency' Meetings About Satanist Pride Clothing Line As Company Fears Growing
Outrage. Target is in the hot seat yet again after the retailer teamed up with a
self-proclaimed Satanist to design Pride clothing aimed at children as young as babies. After
the news first broke, conservatives called for boycotts as expected. Hoping to make a strong
enough impact to Target's revenue like they did with Bud Light. The looming question,
however, was whether conservatives could stay focused long enough to actually deal a sizable blow
to Target. Especially considering swapping Bud Light for another beer is far easier for
consumers than switching retailers entirely. [Tweet]
Target
Is Now Targeting Your Kids For Grooming With Uber-Gay Clothing. Retail giant Target
rolled out an "LGBT Pride" collection that includes so-called "tuck-friendly" wear and
rainbow-colored onesies for infants and children — stoking conservative outrage that
echoes the Bud Light fiasco. "Target about to become Bud Light 2.0," tweeted Citizens Free
Press, a conservative news outlet, referring to the backlash against the nation's top-selling beer
over its tie-up with trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney. Target's line of trans options,
promoted on its website ahead of next month's Pride Month, sparked even more fury because it
targets kids. [Video clip]
Target
[is] in a panic over LGBTQ merchandise outraging customers — reports.
You'd think Target would have learned its lesson. Back in 2006, I wrote an editorial at
Investor's Business Daily criticizing its wokester Che Guevara merchandise selection, prompting the
company to pull the merchandise nationally. [...] If that wasn't enough for them, and the old
corporate memory is gone, there are numerous cases of "go woke, go broke" among other corporations
that tried to foist woke merchandise on the public, culminating in the Bud Light fiasco, which
could have reminded them. [...] Fact is, not everyone wants woke merchandise and many don't want
what they perceive as the gay agenda constantly pushed in their faces, as if the group merits
special treatment. While gay-themed merchandise has been around for years and is eminently
recognizable as a result, (with no problems, actually), there seems to be a reaction against
continuously putting it front and center, seemingly all the time.
Target
holds 'emergency' meeting over LGBTQ merchandise in some stores to avoid 'Bud Light situation'.
Some southern Target stores were forced by the corporation to move LGBTQ Pride merchandise away from
the front of their locations after customer "outrage" to avoid a "Bud Light situation."
Many Target locations across the country feature massive June Pride month displays on an annual basis,
with items this year ranging from "tuck friendly" bathing suits for transgender people to mugs that
say "gender fluid." But the retail juggernaut has been criticized by some conservatives for the
displays, with children's items particularly irking many customers. A Target insider told Fox
News Digital that many locations, mostly in rural areas of the South, have relocated Pride sections
to avoid the kind of backlash Bud Light has received in recent weeks after using a transgender
influencer in a promotional campaign.
That
backlash against Target? It's working. Earlier today I was reading about how
the Target CEO was saying that going all-in on transgender ideology was good for business. He
seemed to be bragging, and implicitly insulting customers who were offended by their partnering
with a for-real SATANIST to market transgender ideology. [...] It turns out that the plebs have a
line they don't like crossed, and that line is somewhere in front of their kids.
Designer
behind Target's 'Pride' collection for kids [is] reportedly a proud Satanist. In
celebration of Gay Pride month, Target has made the potentially fatal woke marketing blunder of
partnering with UK-based satanic designer Abprallen whose designs proclaim that "Satan loves you"
and "Satan respects pronouns." In its Pride line, Target is marketing Abprallen's "Cure
Transphobia" sweatshirt, which has emblazoned on it "Cure transphobia, not trans people." The
designer, whose name is "Erik" and identifies as a "gay, trans man," mixes satanic messages with
pro-LGBT activism. He asserts on his Instagram page that "Satan loves you and respects who
you are; you're important and valuable in this world and you deserve to treat yourself with love
and respect." "LGBT+ people are so often referred to as being a product of Satan or going
against God's will, so fine. We'll hang with Satan instead," he states.
Target's
trans clothing line they're pushing on kids? Yeah, that was designed by an avowed
Satanist. Those conservatives sure did overreact when they tried to boycott Target
because of their trans bathroom policy several years ago! What an overreaction! It's
not like that was ever going to turn into anything more like trans-ing kids and babies. [...]
Scarlett Johnson of Mom's for Liberty Wisconsin has done a lot of work in documenting Target's push
for transgenderism for kids and this partnership is maybe the most disturbing. Here are a few
of the designs by this Satanist dude, some he sells personally, others for sale at your local
Target, and I'm gonna go ahead and warn you they're disturbing: [Illustrations]
Target
CEO: We're seeing 'violent' incidents in our stores, and it's costing us millions.
Target has become a target for major thefts, and it's taking a huge chunk out of profits. The
retailer estimated in its earnings release Wednesday that inventory shrinkage — mostly
the theft of merchandise — would clip profits by a whopping $500 million this
year. Factoring in an about $700 million profit hit from inventory shrinkage in 2022, Target
is on pace to see $1.2 billion in profits go up in smoke, due primarily to organized retail
crime. Target Chairman and CEO Brian Cornell says the problem is getting worse, is
nationwide, and across various merchandise departments.
This started several weeks ago: Target
selling new line of LGBT 'Pride' clothing for toddlers and infants. Consumers'
Research, a Washington, D.C.-based conservative nonprofit organization, recently introduced "Woke
Alerts," text messages that inform consumers about products and companies that cater to a radical
"woke agenda." A recent alert highlighted a new LGBT "pride" clothing collection from
Target. The corporate behemoth has long been a champion of progressive dogma and policies,
opening up bathrooms and dressing rooms to "all genders," eliminating separate "boys" and "girls"
toy sections, etc. The left-leaning international retail giant has sold kids' books with
titles such as "Are You a Boy or Are You a Girl?" and "The Hips on the Drag Queen Go Swish, Swish,
Swish." The store's new line of pro-LGBT clothing is aimed at kids...including infants.
The company says the "take pride" apparel is about "being true to yourself and your community" and
"is something to celebrate all year long." (Of course, this would not be the case if "your
community" happened to be a Christian or conservative one.)
Shoplifters
at San Francisco Target strike every 10 minutes. Workers in a San Francisco Target
store say they are being shoplifted every ten minutes, as the city faces an exodus of retail stores
due to theft. Employees say they have watched individuals actively 'shoveling' goods into
bags before making off. Multiple products including shampoo, deodorant, toothbrushes and some
foods are now kept behind barriers that require staff to open them.
Shopping
the Folsom Street Target in San Francisco is like shopping Folsom Prison. Target
stores corporate may be a socialist enterprise at heart, but I will always give them points for
being upbeat while they do it. Bouncy commercials for bright, happy stores packed with
stupidly edgy and cheerful flotsam and jetsam you didn't know you wanted, but caught your eye and
wound up in your buggy somehow. [...] Fast forward just a few years, and Target, for all their pink
and acid green cut-out kiddie cardboard geegaws, is still serious about "loss prevention." In some
of the cities where they've dropped their red and white buildings, they need to be. One of
those is San Francisco, where the "petty" crime theft rate is driving businesses out, and the few
customers crazy with frustration who still intend to honestly purchase merchandise. Check out
this poor fellow after a visit to the SF Folsom Target. Surprises in the box that should
contain your expensive purchase are not always appreciated. [Tweet]

Searching For Suspect Who Fired Shots Inside Nashville Target Store. A man is being
sought by authorities in connection to an active shooter incident that took place at the Target in
Madison. The Metro Nashville Police Department received a report of an active shooter at the

is no longer a threat. Police say the suspect fired a pistol into the store's back wall
before leaving the scene in a maroon car.

CFO: 'Organized retail crime' contributed to hundreds of millions in lost profits in 2022.
With all due respect to Walgreens CFO James Kehoe, inventory shrinkage mostly at the hands of organized
retail crime is still worth crying over if you are a retailer. Take Target, for example. "It
[inventory shrinkage] was certainly a headwind [last year]," Target CFO Michael Fiddelke told Yahoo Finance
on Tuesday [2/28/2023]. "We know we're not alone in seeing elevated levels of shrink and organized
retail crime driving some of that theft." Fiddelke said the profit impact amounted to "hundreds of
millions of dollars of headwind." The issue is likely to challenge Target's bottom line in 2023, he added.
Target
lost $600 million in profits this year due to shoplifting and looting. It was all fun and games with
"social justice" until wealthy investors started losing money from it, which is exactly what is now happening to those
who hold shares in the Target retail chain. Shoplifting has apparently gotten so bad at Target — and we
say apparently because this is the excuse that Target's top dogs are using — that the company expects
to lose a total of $600 million in profits this year. Target's gross margin rate dropped from 28 percent in last
year's third quarter to 24.7 percent this year. Higher markdown rates and inflating freight costs are also
shouldering some of the blame.
Target
Has Horrible Earnings This Quarter, Blame It On Losing 600 Million Dollars In Shoplifting. Target is the
latest big retailer blaming shoplifting for putting a big hit on its profits. The company said its gross margin
rate dropped from 28% in last year's 3rd quarter to 24.7% this year. Along with shoplifting, referred to as shrink
in the industry, the company blamed higher markdown rates and freight costs for dragging down profits. The company
says "inventory shortage or shrink" is a major drain on profits and it "is a growing problem." Target expects
theft to cost it $600 million in lost profits this year. [Video clip]
Target:
'Organized retail crime' has driven $400 million in extra profit loss this year. Target stores are getting
looted, and it's taking a huge bite out of profits. The discount retailer told reporters on a call to discuss its
third quarter earnings results that inventory shrinkage — or the disappearance of merchandise —
has reduced its gross profit margin by $400 million so far in 2022 compared to 2021. "At Target,
year-to-date, incremental shortage has already reduced our gross margin by more than $400 million vs. last
year," Target CFO Michael Fiddelke said on the earnings call, "and we expect it will reduce our gross margin by
more than $600 million for the full year." Fiddelke detailed how there are "a handful of things that can drive
shrink in our business and theft is certainly a key driver. We know we're not alone across retail in seeing a
trend that I think has gotten increasingly worse over the last 12 to 18 months. So we're taking the right
actions in our stores to help curb that trend where we can, but that becomes an increasing headwind on our business and
we know the business of others." A Target spokesperson told Yahoo Finance via email after the call the shrinkage
was mostly specifically attributed to "organized retail crime."

Target Pushes Transgender Lifestyle on Youth, Retailer Sees 90% Decline in Profits.
Woke retailer Target has recently suffered a significant decline in profits as it pushes to
normalize the transgender lifestyle. On Wednesday, Target revealed that its second-quarter
profits for this year have fallen nearly 90% after being forced to slash the prices on unwanted
merchandise. The company's second-quarter net income was only $183 million, after earning
$1.82 in the same period last year. In the first quarter, Target also saw its profits fall by
52%. Target CEO Michael Fiddelke spoke on the company's recent financial struggles, explaining
that they must quickly get rid of the inventory overflow and prep for a successful holiday season.
Target's
profit fell 90% as it got rid of excess merchandise this summer. For much of the pandemic, Target Corp. turned
insatiable demand into record growth. But Wednesday, executives at the Minneapolis company had to explain a significant drop
in profit. Target's profit fell 90% in the May-through-July period as the company cut prices and canceled orders to get rid
of items that weren't selling. It warned in June that inventory had grown out of hand. "The vast majority of the
financial impact of these inventory actions is now behind us," Target CEO Brian Cornell said.
Target
overhauls flagship store entrance, citing 'disruptive activity' in downtown Minneapolis. The downtown
Minneapolis Target store is making changes to the building to address safety concerns and encourage more shoppers to come
inside. The hustle and bustle of downtown Minneapolis is home to Ninth Street and Nicollet Mall. "It's a busy
corner. Here's a lot of foot traffic and buses that come through here," said Justin Miller, who works downtown.
But not everyone comes to the area to dine or shop. For the last few years, the intersection has become a magnet for
crime in the city. The activity has made its way in and outside of Target.
Target
will slash prices to get rid of inventory, warns profit will shrink this summer. Target Corp. will cut prices,
cancel orders and take other steps to cut its bloated inventory, moves that will lower its profit in the current quarter more
than executives thought just three weeks ago. "Over the past several weeks, we've continued to assess the broader
retail environment and I think it's no secret right now based on what's been reported, the level of inventory across all
retail is pretty high," said Michael Fiddelke, Target's chief financial officer, in an interview with the Star Tribune.
Customers might see prices drop on TVs, outdoor furniture, and kitchen appliances as Target tries to push them out the door
to make way for better-selling merchandise.
Inviting transvestites into the restrooms has nothing to do with this, I'm sure! Target
plunges 26% as soaring costs lead the retail giant to widely miss quarterly earnings expectations. Target
shares sank on Wednesday [5/18/2022], as surging costs resulted in a big miss in quarterly earnings and a reduced
outlook. The stock fell as much as 26% to $159 by midday, the lowest price since November 2020. Target's
first-quarter earnings announcement caught the attention of the broader equity market, with US stock futures swinging lower
following the release. Consumer staples stocks were the worst-performing during the regular session, with their
collective 5% drop fronting the S&P 500's nearly 2% decline.
Food-stamp
recipients are the new frontier for Target's online service. Target Corp. is preparing to let shoppers use food
stamps to pay for online orders, following in the footsteps of Walmart Inc. and Amazon.com, in a move that could help the
Minneapolis-based retailer gain market share among lower-income shoppers. Roughly 21.7 million U.S. households use food
stamps, which are mostly restricted payments to cold food items, non-alcoholic beverages and seeds and plants. Target
disclosed to Reuters last week that it will begin to accept payment online with food stamps, tentatively starting later this
month, through a service offered by Shipt, its delivery arm. A Target spokesman said that it hadn't "shared any
official launch date" for the service, which also will include drive-up and pick-up orders.
Woman,
41, stole $40k from same Target store in 120 incidents in 12 months. San Francisco's 'woke' District Attorney
Chesa Boudin has finally charged a 'prolific' female shoplifter, 41, who stole $40,000 in merchandise from the same Target in
120 incidents over a one-year period. Aziza Graves was arrested Tuesday for her alleged shoplifting spree about two
weeks after voters forced Boudin into a recall election, with a petition yielding 83,000 signatures — far above
the 51,000 required by the city. The push to hold Graves responsible only came after Target demanded that Boudin launch
an investigation, which revealed that the store, at the Stonestown Galleria shopping mall, was hit by the same person more
than 100 times between October 2020 and November 2021.
Rise
of the Vaccine Bullies. The first time in my memory where one of these bullies openly wielded his power was in
2016, when Target stores announced that their customers will have men in women's bathrooms and dressing rooms. Customers
overwhelmingly rejected this policy, but Target's answer was "take it or leave it." And even though more than 1.4 million
consumers chose to leave it, Target survived the massive boycott. The message was clear: big corporations can indeed
push the little people around with impunity. Fast-forward to 2021, and the positional bullies unite behind a propaganda
success: the "pandemic." As bullies are wont to do, they bark orders that hurt people, destroy lives.
Target's
iconic downtown San Francisco store closing amid shoplifting frenzy. Target is disputing a report that it is
closing its iconic downtown San Francisco store amid claims the store is plagued by shoplifting threats costing the retailer
at least $25,000. The California Globe reported that Target is shuttering its store on Mission Street between Third
and Fourth Streets. But Target says the story isn't true. A Target spokesperson said it is not closing the
Mission Street store, but confirmed the retailer will close a different downtown San Francisco store on Bush Street in
November because of underperforming sales.

four years on free undergraduate and associate degrees for its part-time and full-time workers in the US, including those on
their first day on the job. Its partner institutions include Morehouse College, the University of Arizona, Oregon State

The Unlivable
City. People are fleeing California in general, and San Francisco in particular, in droves. As to San
Francisco, the fundamental problem is lawlessness. Which means not just violent crime, which the city has in abundance,
but a breakdown in the fundamental norms of civilization that make urban living possible. The main problem is that San
Francisco's far-left city administration has decided not to prosecute theft. The result, naturally, is an epidemic of
theft. Thus Target, for example, is now closing its San Francisco stores at 6 p.m.
Target,
Walgreens make drastic changes due to increase in San Francisco thefts. According to the California Retailer's
Association three cities in our state are among the top 10 in the country when it comes to organized retail crime -- Los
Angeles, San Francisco and Sacramento. Already we are seeing the negative impact it is having in San Francisco with
stores permanently shutting down or closing early. It has become one of the most pressing issues in our city today.
Target has now acknowledged that San Francisco is the only city in America where they have decided to close some stores early
because of the escalating retail crime.
Target
Will Close San Francisco Stores Early Due To Rising Thefts. Retail chain Target will be closing its stores in
San Francisco, California, early due to increases in shoplifting in the city. ABC 7 reported that Target acknowledged
San Francisco's high retail crime by closing its stores earlier in the day in an attempt to cut down on shoplifting.
"For more than a month, we've been experiencing a significant and alarming rise in theft and security incidents at our San
Francisco stores, similar to reports from other retailers in the area," a Target spokesperson told NBC Bay Area in a
statement Friday night. "Target is engaging local law enforcement, elected officials and community partners to address
our concerns. With the safety of our guests, team members and communities as our top priority, we've temporarily
reduced our operating hours in six San Francisco stores."
The
Woke Learn What Consequences Are. After years of unpunished retail theft, Target has decided to close six of
its area stores early. [Tweet] Of course, the outcry is that this is racist — because these stores are in
predominantly poor, minority neighborhoods. So, while the woke are learning what consequences are, they certainly
aren't willing to accept and learn from them. The reality is that Target, no matter how much money they give to Black
Lives Matter or how many rainbow stripes they put on their logo during the month of June, is still a business. They can
act as woke as they want in their advertisements, but if they can't make money doing something, they aren't going to keep
doing it. When local DAs and city councils bless the idea that petty theft is not a crime, allowing people to walk in
and steal hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise without even being arrested, this is what you get.
Target
store closings show limits of pledge to Black communities. When Target announced that it was opening a store in
Mondawmin, a predominantly Black neighborhood in Baltimore, a city struggling with crime and poverty, it seemed like a ticket
to a turnaround. And from the start, it was a practical success and a point of community pride. The store, which
opened in 2008, carried groceries, operated a pharmacy and had a Starbucks cafe — the only one in this part of
Baltimore's west side. People came from across the city to shop there, helping to soften the Mondawmin area's
reputation for crime and the looting that followed protests over the 2015 death of Freddie Gray, who was fatally injured
while in city police custody. As an employer, Target seemed to cater to the community's needs, making a point of hiring
Black men and providing an office in the store for a social worker to support the staff. Elijah Cummings, the
congressman from Baltimore, was known to shop there. But in February 2018, with almost no warning or explanation,
Target closed the store.

Several questions come to mind immediately. Was 2015 the last time the store was looted during a race riot? Has the
store recently experienced a rash of shoplifting, about which the police will do nothing? A department store operates only
if it makes money. When a store closes, there's always a reason, and the reason starts with a dollar sign.
St.

Round The World. At Concord Bridge in 1775, a revolution started when a handful of American colonists stood up,
refused the King's orders, and said they would make their own decisions about how to live their lives. The ripple
effects changed the world. The next American revolution may have just begun, not at Concord but at Target. Within
the last few days, an employee of Target went to work and — sick and tired of having her rights trampled
upon — refused to wear her mask as directed by her employer. She informed her manager that she would not
comply with his directive to wear the mask, that there was no scientific basis for the rule, and that there was no legal
authority, which would allow him to enforce it. The employee added that she was in contact with the legal team at
America's Frontline Doctors (AFLDS) specifically an attorney named Tom Rentz, and had retained his services. The Target
manager directed the woman in question to go home and advised she was being terminated. Within 24 hours she was
contacted at home and called back into work. The mask requirement was dropped. Apparently, somebody at Target's
legal department knew the name Tom Rentz and had bothered to check the law.

Target
pledges to spend $2B on products, services from Black-owned businesses. As part of its racial equity efforts,
Target Corp. is pledging to sell products from more than 500 Black-owned brands by the end of 2025. That goal is part of
a new $2 billion commitment the Minneapolis-based retailer is making to spend with Black-owned businesses over five
years. The company did not provide specifics on how much it currently spends with these companies, but said the
commitment represents a significant increase. Target currently carries 65-plus Black-owned brands, including several in
its beauty department. In addition to diversifying its suppliers, Target said it will step up partnerships with other
Black-owned companies in areas such as marketing, construction and facilities management. It also will launch a new
program called Forward Founders to help Black entrepreneurs grow and scale their businesses for mass retail.

pledges to increase number of Black employees by 20%. Target Corp. plans to increase its number of Black
employees by 20% over the next three years as part of its growing efforts to build a more diverse and inclusive company,
executives said. The Minneapolis retailer on Thursday announced its latest commitment to racial equity as it also made
public more detailed information about the ethnic and gender makeup of its employees and leaders. Target's total
workforce last year was 360,000, with 25% of employees Latino, 15% Black, 5% Asian and 5% people who identified as mixed
race, American Indian or other underrepresented groups. However, the diversity is less the higher the position, with
61% of managers, 71% of company officers and 75% of Target's leadership team being white. For example, Black employees
account for only 5% of Target's executives or senior level officials and managers.

The article immediately above makes no mention of perverts in the restrooms, or a nationwide boycott. Instead, the
writer seems to blame President Trump and an irrational fear of deportation for Target's problems. That might be plausible

boycott cost more than anyone expected — and the CEO was blindsided. Target triggered a nationwide
boycott last year with a single blog post — and it turns out the message was as big of a shock to the company's
CEO as it was to some shoppers. The blog post, published in April 2016, publicized a policy that said transgender
customers were welcome to use the bathroom or fitting room that matched their gender identity.
Target shares
plunge on weak sales outlook. Target Corp. reported a steeper-than-expected decline in fourth-quarter
same-store sales and said it expected sales to continue to fall this fiscal year, sending its shares tumbling 13 percent in
premarket trading Tuesday [2/28/2017]. The company has struggled with declining sales as shoppers increasingly gravitate
to online retailers such as Amazon.com Inc. and spend more on big-ticket purchases such as cars and home renovations rather
than electronics, food and apparel.

Or maybe it's because Target took the lead in welcoming transvestites and perverts into their restrooms, and now
there's a massive nationwide boycott of Target as a result.
Unprecedented

Target
bathroom boycott is costing the company $20 million and shopper traffic is down for the first time in years.
Target's decision to take a stance on a social cause appears to be bad for business. Shopper traffic has been declining
for the first time in years, ever since the company issued a statement in April, saying transgender customers were free to
use whichever bathroom they wanted at their store locations. The statement was in response to a North Carolina bill
that was signed into law in March, requiring students at state school to sue the bathrooms of their birth gender.
Target
to spend $20 million on single-stall bathrooms after backlash to its restroom policy. Target said Wednesday it
is preparing to spend $20 million in the coming months to add single-stall bathrooms along with men's and women's restrooms
in its stores, a move meant to accommodate shoppers who have expressed concern about the retailers' policy of allowing
customers and employees to use the bathroom that corresponds to the gender they identify with. "Some of our guests
clearly are uncomfortable with our policy, and some are really supportive," said Cathy Smith, Target's chief financial
officer, in a conference call wither reporters.

May Be Unhappy With Target, and It's Starting to Show. Target has long been loved by people because it's a fun

experience at Target has declined for a fourth consecutive period, according to a new survey of 2,500 people done by
investment bank Cowen. Declines in customer satisfaction were seen across the board, led by drops in customer service,
merchandise selection and product quality. Overall, Cowen says customer satisfaction at Target plunged 383 basis points
to 66.7%. It appears unhappy Target shoppers could be taking their business elsewhere.
Texarkana
Repeals Transgender Bathroom Ordinance. The issue of transgender access to bathrooms and locker rooms of the
opposite sex — which came to the forefront of the public mind in April when Target announced its new
policy — has been quietly incubating behind the scenes for longer than most Americans are aware. The battle
has been brewing for many months in places as diverse as Washington State and Texarkana, Arkansas, as the radical Left has
conspired to create this issue and introduce it by stealth and deception. And while communities all over the country
are waking up to find that this issue has moved into their cities, counties, and states, many are organizing efforts to
defeat it and return sanity to their communities.

result, a massive revolt and boycott against Target happened. Sales and stock prices of Target dropped like a rock.
Target
boycott has directly cost company $9.2 billion in market cap to date. There is some confusion and denial in the
mainstream media over the real impacts of the ongoing boycott of Target because of its controversial bathroom policies
allowing men into women's rooms and vice versa, which came into force April 19. The left-of-center Associated
Press released a superficial report last week on the causes of Target's current financial situation: [...]
Woman
marches through Target blasting transgender bathroom policy. A video of a woman parading around a Target store
with a Bible protesting the retail company's transgender bathroom policy has gone viral. Fox 8 Cleveland reported
Tuesday [5/17/2016] the unidentified woman in the Youtube video is carrying a Bible through the store and yelling, "America,
when are you going to wake up? It's time to take a stand and have a voice." The woman, who said she's a mother
of 12, called Target's bathroom policy a "wicked practice" and said she wouldn't shop there. Some people begin to
walk out of the store during the two-minute video.
What's Really
Behind America's Transgender Mania? With the U.S. economy on life support, record numbers of illegal aliens
invading the nation, and ISIS targeting the American homeland with mass-casualty attacks, the Obama administration has made
transgender rights — which Vice President Joe Biden calls "the civil rights issue of our time" — an
urgent focus of its final months. However, spurred on by reports of an 8-year-old girl being strangled unconscious by a
33-year-old man in a girls' restroom Friday, Americans are pushing back. Obama's just-announced school edict mandating
transgender bathrooms for the entire nation's children is being met with fierce resistance. Target Corporation's stock
value plunged after more than a million Americans publicly pledged to boycott the store over its bathroom policy, and North
Carolina is now suing the federal government for its "bullying," "overreaching" attack on that state's new bathroom law.
Deviant behavior must be really important to them. More important than staying in business. Target's
Cornell says retailer stands by its transgender bathroom policy. Target Corp. will stick with its policy of
allowing transgender customers to choose the bathroom they wish to use as part of the company's long history of supporting
diversity and inclusion, chief executive Brian Cornell said Wednesday [5/11/2016]. At the same time, he offered an olive
branch to those who have been upset by the policy and said the company will add family restrooms to all of its stores, an
option for people who worry about the mixing of sexes in bathrooms. Cornell made the remarks during an appearance on
CNBC's "Squawk Box" program. He noted that more than 1,400 of the company's 1,800 stores already have family
restrooms. In the next few months, Target will put them in the rest of its stores.
Texas
raises stink over Target's transgender bathrooms. The Lone Star State is coming to the rescue of shoppers
confused over whether to leave the seat up or down in Target's transgender bathrooms. The nation's second-largest
discount retailer announced on April 19 that they would "welcome transgender team members and guests to use the restroom or
fitting room facility that corresponds with their gender." In response, more than 1.1 million customers joined a boycott
sponsored by the American Family Association.

In addition to the 1.1 million people who signed the petition, there are others, such as myself, who will not enter a Target store
again. I wasn't going to use their restroom anyway, but that's not the point. The point is that Target is friendly to
deviant sex perverts who are gradually ruining our society. Target has stepped in it. There are plenty of other
similar stores, and the prices of nearly everything are lower at all of Target's competitors.
Target
Stock Drops in Wake of Transgender Bathroom Policy. Target's stock has dropped and more than 1 million consumers
have pledged to boycott the retail giant after it announced an "inclusive" policy allowing individuals to use the restroom or fitting
room of their choice, based on their gender identity.
Politics
Has Ruined Everything Fun. Target was my all-time favorite store — bright, well-lit, with fun
displays and great products. But Target couldn't allow that cheerful joviality in their stores. Nope —
they had to step in and take a stand against 99.7% of their customer base. They proudly issued a policy that anyone —
man, woman, pervert, pedophile — can use the bathroom of his choice. The result: I don't shop at Target
anymore, because the stigma of politics has infected the store and because I'm hesitant to use the bathroom.
Soft Target. About 1.4 million
people signed a pledge to boycott Target stores over the company's transgender bathroom and fitting room policy.
Target's same-store sales during the same quarter were down for the first time in two years. Is there a connection?
Target officials say no, and they have been giving other reasons ever since they announced on Aug. 17 that foot traffic
had fallen 2.2 percent and comparable store sales were down 1.1 percent in the May to July period. Target
says sluggish grocery sales, a clumsy transition of Target's pharmacies to CVS, and falling sales of Apple products were to
blame. Retail analysts also point to competition from Amazon.com.
One
million Americans vow to boycott Target over transgender bathrooms. More than one million people have decided
they will no longer buy their Nutter Butters or Wet Wipes at Target. The American Family Association launched a boycott
of the nation's second largest retailer a week ago — over Target's corporate policy allowing men who identify as
women to use the bathrooms and fitting rooms of their choosing.
Pledge
to Boycott Target on Pro-LBGT Stance Reaches 1,000,000 Signatures. A pledge to boycott all Target stores over
the company's stance on transgender issues reached 1 million signatures on Thursday night, one week after it was
launched. The pledge came as a response to the company's decision to open restrooms and changing rooms to men and women
who identify as the gender opposite their own biological sex. The one million signatures represent a major victory for
those who hold to the biological and cultural belief that human beings are either male or female. Last month, North
Carolina Governor Pat McCrory signed a bill stating that multiple-stall restrooms should be reserved to persons who are
biologically male or female. Companies across the nation shot back, condemning the common-sense law as "discriminatory"
and "anti-LGBT."
Target
Stock Drops Amid New Bathroom Policy And Boycott. Target stock prices dropped in 10 days after the retailer
announced a new policy to allow customers to use whichever bathroom or fitting room accords to their gender identity.
On Friday [4/29/2016], the shares of Target Corporation Common Stock fell 2.52 percent in one day, according to recent
reports. In addition since April 19th, the day they announced the new policy, the stock went from a share value of
$84.14 to $79.27 per share. That's a drop of 5.8 percent in 10 days. The Family Policy institute says they
estimate that to be a loss to the company of $2.5 billion dollars. Shortly following Target's new policy, the American
Family Association launched a petition to boycott the store. As of Friday afternoon [4/29/2016] they had received over
one million signatures.
Target's
market cap down $6 billion since start of transgender bathroom policy. After announcing on April 19 that
it "welcome[s] transgender team members and guests to use the restroom or fitting room facility that corresponds with their
gender identity," Target faced an instant and broad public backlash that led to a boycott petition being posted online by the
American Family Association the next day. The petition currently has 1.24 million supporters, and undoubtedly a
much larger share of the public disagrees with Target's policy. If stock prices are any indication, the boycott effort
and other negative publicity have severely hurt Target's financials.
The Editor says...
Target is being boycotted because they made the decision to take the lead in this fight. Other stores and businesses may eventually follow,
but Target wanted to stand out as the trend-setter. They won't see any more of my money.
Target boycott reaches another
milestone. The American Family Association's "Boycott Target" petition has received 1.5 million signatures. AFA's Walker Wildmon
made the announcement earlier today on American Family Radio. "It has officially reached 1.5 million signatures," said Wildmon. "So that's
a great victory, it's a great milestone in what I view is a highly successful boycott of Target." The announcement comes one year to the day that Target
announced a policy allowing transgender employees and customers to use the bathrooms and changing rooms for the gender with which they say they identify.
AFA then announced a boycott, saying the policy puts women and children at risk of sexual predators who take advantage of the transgender policy.
Stand
Up to Left-wing Activist Bullies. Our cowardly silence, not alerting the public to the depths of the Left's
assaults on all things moral and upright has emboldened Leftist activists to continue spitting upon, slapping, and punching
traditional American values every day. Consequently, Leftist activists plan to legalize 12 new perversions and trample
more cherished values underfoot. [...] Americans are finally pushing back. Almost 500,000 Americans signed a pledge to
boycott Target for allowing men to use women's restrooms and dressing rooms in their stores.
ABC
Censors Massive Boycott Over Target's New Transgender Policy. ABC loves citizens speaking out on controversial
issues — except when it goes against the liberal agenda. The boycott pledge against Target's transgender
policy boasts more than 700,000 signatures. But the American public wouldn't know that from watching ABC's news
shows. It's not like ABC can plead ignorance of the outcry by Target customers. The other two broadcast networks,
NBC and CBS, considered the boycott a story important enough for their national news shows this week.
Of course: Missouri man caught
filming women in Target dressing room. Oh by the way, he'd done it before, and when cops arrested him, he had a
loaded handgun. Let's get this out of the way right at the start: No one is mistaking Matthew Foerstel for a
"transgender person" for lack of the better one-word noun I'm sure someone will come up with very soon. He's clearly
just a male pervert going where he's not supposed to be. I don't even think he's claiming to "identify as a woman."
ESPN
Fires Analyst for Opposing Men in Women's Bathrooms. It has been established that the "transgender" agenda
isn't based on science but ideology, yet this hasn't stopped entities such as retailer Target from allowing men to use
women's restrooms. And it didn't stop sports network ESPN from firing former MLB pitcher and game analyst Curt
Schilling for criticizing that very policy. The controversy began Tuesday [4/19/2016] when Schilling weighed in on the
North Carolina "bathroom bill" and shared a satirical meme critical of the transgender agenda on Facebook.
Boycott
Target underway after superstore declares men can use women's bathrooms. After Target announced that it would
welcome "transgender team members and guests to use the restroom or fitting room facility that corresponds with their gender
identity," the American Family Association is now asking customers to boycott the superstore in a new petition. "The
American Family Association is calling for a boycott of Target after the retail giant said it would allow men to use the
women's restrooms and dressing rooms in their stores," the petition states. "This means a man can simply say he "feels
like a woman today" and enter the women's restroom... even if young girls or women are already in there."
